Who this clinic serves
This is for self-directed traders who already record at least some entries and exits but struggle to review them consistently. You may be testing a pullback, breakout, range-reversion, or trend-continuation idea. The clinic does not require a large account or professional experience; it does require a willingness to show losing trades and incomplete notes.
Scope of the examination
Before the meeting, select six to ten trades from one market and one general timeframe. Include screenshots captured near entry when available, timestamps, intended invalidation, and a brief note on management. During the session we reconstruct what was visible before the outcome, mark swing structure and relevant levels, and compare stated criteria with actual execution.
The review includes a marked-up session sheet, revised journal prompts, and a short list of observations worth testing. It does not include trade signals, account access, portfolio allocation, tax advice, or a prediction of future returns.
How the 90 minutes run
- Opening inventory — 10 minutes. We name the setup and the specific review question.
- Chart reconstruction — 45 minutes. We inspect context, trigger, invalidation, and management without hiding poor examples.
- Pattern comparison — 20 minutes. We separate one-off mistakes from repeated behavior.
- Review rule — 15 minutes. We write a measurable criterion and a journal prompt for the next sample.
Preparation and constraints
Send exported images or PDFs at least one working day beforehand. Remove account numbers and personal financial information. We can discuss the logic recorded in your journal, but we cannot tell you what security to buy or sell. Where chart history is incomplete, the instructor will identify the gap rather than infer missing evidence.
